The holiday passed...

Recently, I've been guesting with Elder Forces, one of the best guilds in the EQ innoruuk's server. I was excited and participated almost every raid I could in the holidays.I got the Chestplate of Eradication, one of the few chest armor a bard could dream of. During the holidays, I dinged 65 all these months of playing EQ, finally. Now that the holidays are going and exams are just 15 days from now (fast, isn't it?), I had less time for computer and had to work on studying, though I still slack a lot. The last exam was a complete disappointment to me. History was screwed up just as I predicted: 25/100. Science is the only subject that sustained it's standard but the next exams include Chemistry.Maths is getting to be a pain in the arse, with statistics and graphs entering my life. Now I now why I failed to get an A for mathematics last year...(to be continued)

the past few weeks

For the last few weeks after my last update, I had been going to John's house like 3 times a week just to play Dead or Alive on the Xbox that we both bought (he contributed $300, me $100). It's on its last day of offer just when we want to buy it. $350 for an Xbox, a set game or a game of choice and the next game costing half its price, a controller and the next controller for half its price too. It's a huge offer considering a controller costs $60 and a game costing $70 and with the Xbox costing $350. It's a really fun game, DEad or Alive 3.I had also been repriminded for charging my EQ game cost to her credit card bu heck, i was about to terminate my EQ account anyway due to next year's GCE 'O' levels. And last week was a common test week (number 2). English went fine luckily because there was no composition writing much to my disappointment. (I scraped through. I was never good with comprehension in the first place. I excell only in composition.)Chinese was a surprise. For the last 3 year I had never passed a Chinese test. For this test, I went over my 'just pass' expectation. I got 60/100 which already surpassed too many people.Maths was hell, and so does everyone else think so. I know I can do those questions but the problem is the usual 'time constrain'. We had no time, not even the Pure sciences classes, to complete everything.Science (physics) was always my specialty so I should be able to ace it, hopefully. =\ My science teacher was know to be EXTREMELY STRICT to minor details like arrows and unit signs and even formulae listing. But at the same time, he is a very sponteneous type of guy so I don't blame him much.Principles of Accounts, too, surprised me. I didn't notice that all those questions were out there to trick me (and i fell into them =( History is what I'm expecting the worst. I had writing what happened during the middle of the Feb. revolution and the Oct. revolution of Russia at 1917. I dunno, I think I'll pass tho.

2.4km run! OMG!

Today, I ran the 2.4 km run for the physical test. God i had not been that tired in my legs before! not even during the worst of my basketball training! But other than that, the POA test which I had done was being distributed and I was pleased to say that I had got full marks (although 3 other had got the same results)

Sunday is here!

Alright, lemme start with the POA tests I had done this friday. It had been fantastic! I had not balanced the DR and the CR before I'm any tests before! I must say, either this tests was easy, or that I am improving :)We got a new maths teacher. The old one said that she had give up our class for some remedier for the graduating classes. But our form teacher said that she gave up our class and that was just an excuse. Go figure. Same applies to our old POA young teacher, Mr Koh, about changing himself for Mr. Ng, out new POA teacher. After a 'long' wait, we finally got our Maths teacher on Thursday. Surprisingly, to me, our class had been strangly quiet of our new and young Mathematics teacher. Usually, our class had been a rowdy class.Of course, I had heard the worst of my class. As stated, some of our teachers gave up on our heck of a class. My English teacher said that she almost had a stroke months ago. But i can see that our class had been improving thanks to our form teacher Mr. Chua. Everyday, he had to scream and scold our class until now, it finally had some effect. During lesson changes, we were as bad as usual, but we had improved in-lessonwise, wearing our 'masks' to 'act' good. The ERP this week was the worst I had been to, really astrocious. The damn teacher Mr. Mazzone told us to plan and plan and plan with all sorts of methods until there are 30mins left to write out essay. Method include brainstorming, 'parachuting' (to move in a single direction, collecting ideas), drafting and all sorts of bullshit. Thrity minutes! How am I going to complete an essay within that short period of time?! Geezus, I could barely finish my introduction! (My usual essay was 1k words long, compressed 700 words)I think I'm going to take a break from Everquest now, and expereince other games and listen to some mp3s (Summon Illusion FINALLY got his website up, I'm really happy for him and for myself as I could finally burn the CD of his works :) ), and maybe go back to EoFF and go onto MSN and AOL more often. Thankfully, SI linked me this melody program which I would be eagar to try out. That's all for this week. Whew...:D

*sigh*

Today prove to be a tiring start of a Sunday.1) Woke up late when I wanted to be up at 4am2) Realized that I've got a Enlish report to do, a movie report, but I don't watch movies =(3) My Chinese language teacher reminded me of a test this Thurday. *sigh* More memorizing...4) The Sapphire_House_Scabble team broke up. Just how are we gonna win now? And I'm the leader...and the competition starts TOMORROW!!!Call me superstitious, but this always happen to me: When a series of bad things happen, whatever things which I want to do will turn out bad. It's always like that for me. And I keep telling myself to trust my instinct and feelings, instead of my greedy part of my mind, because if I follow my anxious and greedy self, sooner or later, something crappy will happen.*sigh*

Hmm...

School has started and I'm begining to get worried cuz it seemed that I've not been starting too well...but that was the feeling I had at the 2nd term, so everything would be just fine.Recently, I was being selected as the leader of our house in the Inter-House Scrabble competition. I had to do some Thesarus consuming before setting off this Monday.now, I'm just worried that the pupils we selected did not know that they WERE being selected. And I do not have their contacts. Silly me...

Sorry for the long update...

...but I was really busy with things. Firstly, I would like to say that I got the FIRST of the CLASS!!! Whoooohoooo!!!!!!!! 19th in the whole LEVEL!!! WOW!!! Imagine that I used to be the 4th from the bottom once!Secondly, I was busy with Everquest as usual. Today, just hours ago, my guild 'Lords of Ancient Myth' went underwater diving to discover the new ruined city on Kunark, namely . Veks is a place of wonderful experience. Located in the middle of the Lake of Ill Omen, we one by one assembled outside of Veks (I got lost, so i was the last haha!) Upon reaching that place, it was at first infested with Bloodgilled goblins. We ventured in deeper and came upon several strange mobs, some that mana burns! (It burnt me lol). We moved till we came to a pond. At first, the leader and a few other dissappeared, then, we regrouped and dived into the pond. That pond, is actually the entrance of a tunnel which leads to another side (and more other sides). I slowly made our way in and suddenly came into a field which was infested with golems. The Iksar golems are hard to defeat and they hit hard. I suppose there was a shop in the field as there were KoSed shopkeepers and clerks (wierd, i know)Soon, we have to stop. Surprisingly, the field is connected towards the area where the goblins are. We sorta 'Trained' our way out, and all of us managed to be safe at the end. That's all for today's entry. thank you!

OVER!

At long last, freedom is coming back to me once again. The mid-term exams were VERY hard but I think I'll do pretty well. I'm just worried because I lost a donation card...threw it away or something like that...during Operation: Cleanup. Well, I'm back to my usual life with more happiness and freedom. The only obstacle that'll have a chance to stop me is the examination results. One thing I'm confused about is my mom. She takes my 2nd language as if it was my life. Hmm...

/sigh

Sorry for the long update, but I did something bad. I stole my mum's Credit Card and used it to buy something that was out of sale recently in Singapore (that's the stupid thing around here). Exams are here and I'm EXTREMELY worried about my 2nd language. The English paper is ridiculous except for the composition part, which I FELT I've done a great job =)hopefully everything goes well. My 2nd language compo and chemistry is tommorrow. I'm more worried about the main 2nd language paper so i should breeze through this.

Life sure chan...

Life sure changed without Everquest. It is getting boring and boring. And here I am, typing this because I got nothing else better to do...I'm still searching for those EQ Game Cards (god, those darn Sony employees said they never heard to them), or a kind soul who would lend me a credit card to spare...God, I'm now sooooooo bored, I went to sleep right after school! That never happened so often before!I guess I still have to keep searching =\

Heh, ...

Heh, my form teacher called me a hour ago to check on whether if I've entered SARS affected countries. Very thoughtful,heheh...

sars again...

sorry for the long update but my school mailed me the weekend's homework and I'm busy finishing them. The deaths toll on SARS raised therefore the school holidays will be extended for one more week (and for real) and will reopen at 14th of April.I really do hope they arranged the time of the examinations. It wouldn't be really fair if they handed us questions we don't understand.

SARS

School's down today because of a fast spreading virus called SARS. It's a virus causing repiratory problems and it spread by INHALING whatever the other party exhale! So close contact with such people is forbidden (geez!) To catch the virus, just go to the CDC (communicative disease center) and simple, breathe in O_OIt's really scary. All of a sudden 740 people caught it and just yesterday, the number raised to 100 more even after being confined. And the worst thing is that the virus wakes up only after a week once it is inside the person's body. And no cure is found yet! This is a NEW DISEASE!How it is arrive at SE Asia? Well, some people went overseas to the Guangzhou areas like China, Hong Kong, etc (don't think Korea or Japan has them) They came back here, sick and spread the disease like wildfire!Actually, suffering if not a big deal...school shouldn't be close because of that BUT when a patient, a young girl, died, parents got worked up and well, school's cancelled.Have anyone heard of this disease?

After a loooooong slumber

Well, I'm back to lj, not worrying about my internet bills anymore! lol! Yes! I got CABLE!!I'm very suprised to see that my account has NOT been expired after like a year or so.A new year has started and my results are going on very fine, better than usual in fact. Just hope to look for some mp3s to replace my crappy midis, like my current cable replacing that 56KMy phone bill raised from $20 to well, $100 dollars more, so my mum and dad decide to give my cable which cost $69 per month! Isn't that great?!
